Mother's Day Weekend

Good Morning. It's early here.
Well, right about 7am. I just sent Emma off to school, Mark left for work an hour ago, and the boys are still sleeping upstairs.  I am perched here on the front porch enjoying a most wonderful morning. I love these summer mornings when the temp. is just perfect. I am watching a small bird make a nest right above my head in my ferns and a rabbit just wandered into my yard. For real. That's all true.  I likely will not be still be sitting here when I finish this post. The boys will wake and the day will start full force.
Okay onto the weekend.
We had a wonderful weekend. How can you not, when you spend almost all of it outside.

Friday evening Emma had a ballgame (they won)

Mark and Tanner stayed to watch her while I took Maddox to a bowling birthday party.

Saturday morning I was up and out the door early to yardsale.
I didn't end up with much.
I passed up the deal of the century though!!
Don't ask.
I bought a Scrabble Game for 25cents just to use the pieces.
And for 1dollar I got, according to Maddox, the BEST.thing.ever!

This is a BayBlade. In case you didn't know.
He loves it.
It was 1dollar.
We're both happy.

I ran back home to pick up Emma and take her to another tball game.

She really likes to play softball.
And she is pretty good at it.
They let her play 3rd base on Saturday and her face just lit up!
She ran out of the dugout took her position on 3rd and then looked to the crowd to find me and wave.
Look how cute she is!!
They A's won this game too!
They are 6-0 for the season.
The only team that has won them all.
I really love her coaches Ms. Amy and Ms. Julie.

Goooooooo A's!!

While we girls were at this game, all the boys were at Madd's soccer game.
(What will we do when we have 3 playing sports!?)

The RockStars won their game again too!
5 to Zip and Oh, yeah Maddox scored THREE of those goals!
Way to Go Rocket!!! (<---nickname)
He's a tough little soccer player my friends.

After all the games, Tanner took a nap, Mark secretly worked on my Mother's Day gift while I took the other two to a Mario birthday party!  We were busy on Saturday.
This party was for Madd's best friend Wyatt and his mom (my friend) Janna did a great job!
It was so adorable and fun.

Maddox as Mario.
I will share some more of this party later this week because it was that cute.

When I got back home Mark had my gift ready!!
He had been building it in his parents garage.
He's such a sweetie.
He made me some garden beds!

And then he filled up em'.
While all the kids and neighbors played in the dirt.

Of course, I also got lots of these precious gifts.
My favorites are the one from Maddox that the 'read' to me,
"To Mommy. I love you. You are so cute."
And the one from Emma that she put my age on for me.

Tanner helped me clean my car
and Emma helped with dinner.

Sunday morning we went to church

and took a little swim at grandma's house!

It was cold. The heater had not been on for long.
(it's warmed up good now! We'll be back there soon)
Tanner wouldn''t get in. Which was okay with me and Mark because we didn't want to get in with him!
The rest of the evening we played in the cul'de sac with all our neighbors.
No pictures of said neighbors but they do exist and they ROCK!
That's it's for me folks!
I'm over and out.
Like I predicted I am no longer in my quiet place on the porch,
I have made waffles, sippy cups, changed diapers, packed lunches and got 2 boys ready to leave while typing this post. So I hope it makes sense! Ha!
Now it's time for us to run.
Madd is off to school and Tanner and I are going to work for a little while.

Have a wonderful day.

This is our life....
