Emma has been taking piano lessons for a few months now.
Our neighbor, very next door neighbor is her teacher.
How much more convienent could it be?
She takes once a week for 30 minutes.
She loves it.
AND she's good at it!
I'm so proud of her. She is learning to read music, but she also (unlike me when I played flute) can play things by ear and can memorize her songs. I have to take a piece of paper and cover up her hands, forcing her to read the music instead of playing all from memory.
She is making her way through her first piano book and has learned Rudolph.
