First day of school!
We are excited.
There is something good about a routine.
It would be better if it didn't start so early.
All my kids got GREAT teachers!
I am so thrilled.
I mean, really great teachers.
(Madd's teacher has already expressed her
adoration for him twice, but how can you not
love this sweetheart)
These two were excited to go back.
This year little brother is going too!
Oh, my heart!
He's my baby.
He is so ready to go.
He needs the time with his peers.
He needs to be busy all day.
He was ready!
Didn't cry at ALL.
I was so surprised.
I mean, not even a second glance my way!
what?
When I saw him so happy and ready to go, I was
happy for him. I felt very safe and comfortable with his
teacher, so I didn't get upset when I left him there.
He also has a wonderful teacher.
Then it was just me and MerBear!
Home free.
We got out of there and shopped, decorated, NO.
The very first day, I worked at The Sweet Shoppe.
Which is my kitchen.
But I worked the whole day.
I've been making better use of my time since then.
Today, I started one small project and that escalated into
something much bigger where I painted 1/2 the wall.
More on that later.
I made a list of all the things I would like to get
finished each nine weeks of school. I may be dreamin',
but I'm going to try to do it!
