camping trip

So, here's the camping post as promised. We had a blast, and yes I never thought I would say that camping....in the summer....pregnant....without showeres was a blast. But of course the kids loved being outside. We stayed at Elkmont Campground which is in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Just about 8 min. from the last light on the Gatlinburg strip, but tucked way out in the middle of huge trees and a beautiful river. The campground was much cooler than the temps. here at home. We got pretty cold at night. Anywhere you look around this place, could be a postcard! Just beautiful! We will def. be heading back!
Emma's trip consisted of playing in the tent.......

and collecting things..........she also rode her bike alot and whined about walking on hikes.

Maddox's trip consisit of playing in the creek....Moseing around the trails...........

and climbing on every rock he could find.........

and there were alot of rocks!...........

I would highly recommend this place for your next camping trip. We may see ya there! Oh, almost forgot! Maddox learned to ride a bike while we were there! With trainging wheels of course, but Mark lowered the seat and he took off! So now we are off to get new bikes. If the two year old can ride, he needs his own, and if the two year old can ride the four year olds bike.....she needs a new one!
