Batman Party

This party was so fun.
It was perfect.
Here's the sign I made for the front door.

The table

My cookies turned out great.

We also had Marshmallow Pops, Superhero Energy Drink, & Mighty Bites.

I can't seem to find the link to the water bottle labels.
And the cake!
Click here for my CAKE POST.
I made BIF, BAM, BOOM signs to hang everywhere

but my personal favorite part of the party was this back drop
that I painted.I wish I could say this was my idea but I
got my inspiration from HERE.

It was so fun!

The kids also made their own superhero capes.
They were very easy to make!

Oh yeah, I also made superhero mask for all the kids with the help of my MIL and her handy dandy sewing machine. She sewed on the elastic. They are just cut from black felt. Only 25cents per sheet. Template found HERE.

There's Super Maddox and his best friend Super Wyatt!

This was a great party and so much fun!
I also made a 'batcave' in the laundry room.

Mark hung black streamers form the ceiling and threw in some black balloons.
Then we threw Kryptonite (glow sticks) in and the superheros had to go in and get them.

We played a couple of other games that I made up on the cheap. I made another sign just like the one that was on the front door except I left off the #4. We used it as a pin the 4 on the poster game.  I bought a $1 coloring book that had a matching game on the back cover, cut out the pieces, hid one set of pieces all over the house then the kids had to go find thier match.  While we were playing games the Riddler came, stole all the treat bags and left clues behind for the superheros
to find them again! The kids LOVED it

these are our memories...

Great party! You always come up with great ideas and are so creative... I definitely lack in this area. :) Happy Birthday to Maddux! (Ella Kate's birthday is next week and my idea of a creative party is going to Bowling World. HA!)

This is terrific. My 4-year-old has already been begging me for two months to have a Batman birthday for his next birthday (which isn't till December!), and I love some of your ideas. I mostly love that you're one of those moms that "gets into" the whole kid thing without feeling like you have to rent some zillion dollar costume and hire catering in order to do that. (We have a lot of snob moms--or "snoms," as I like to call them in secret--around my parts. The birthday parties are sickening sometimes.)

Thanks for the great post, I am definitely bookmarking it!

Cheers,
Gracie
