Trip to the zoo

Saturday morning we surprised the kids with a trip to the zoo.

We only recently became members of the Nashville Zoo. Our kids have not been a whole alot so going for them is still fun and exciting. And as members we don't feel like we have to see every.thing. while we are there to get our moneys worth. So we just took our time and saw the animals that we like best.

Everyone had a blast! We got there when they opened at 9:00 and stayed a couple of hours.

I have a funny video of the kids feeding the birds as I am being attacked by one and then when one lands on Emma, it's all over. I'll try to get it up here.

Today is the last official day of school so the we are having a surprise 'Summer Party' on our cul-de-sac!

The kids have no idea and it should be lots of fun! I'll post pictures soon!
